About Me

For the past several years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in college counseling clinics, elementary schools, and community agencies. I love teaching my clients about mental health concepts in ways that are easy to learn, grasp, and integrate into everyday life.

Getting Help

I know firsthand that reaching out to a counselor is often scary because you want someone you’ll connect with, and you wonder what they’ll have to say to you. The benefits of therapy have been shown by researchers in hundreds of well-designed, peer-reviewed studies. Healing is possible, and I'd like to help you get there.

"As someone with a lot of anxiety, it’s important to me to talk to someone who is compassionate. I found this to be very true of Kawika. He helped me grow my skills with managing my anxiety with very effective suggestions and was very thorough in explaining anything I was confused about. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kawika as a therapist to anyone."
