Like a leg injury that follows you for life, old wounds from our past can follow us and affect how we feel, how we relate to others, and how we experience life. I primarily practice using techniques grounded in trauma-focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help clients - when they are ready - to face these stories of their past in order to cultivate acceptance, healing, and the strength needed to move forward.
