Who am I?
Sometimes, being our authentic self can be hard. Sometimes it can feel impossible. Whatever your struggle, counseling to affirm your identity can focus on bridging the gap between who you are and who you want to be. It often begins with self-discovery, or learning more about who we really are as individuals, and most importantly - human beings.
While exploring identity often is focused around sexuality, gender identity, and cultural identity, it doesn't have to be. We are incredibly complex, multifaceted beings. "To thine own self be true" can be easier said than done. But it is possible to love yourself, and it is possible to accept yourself.
